Butterflies of Mullanpur
The website documents butterflies seen and photographed by Dr. Harmeet Singh an avid butterfly watcher. Most of these butterflies (local as well as migratory) were seen in area around Mullanpur, Siswan, Mirzapur, Perch New Chandigarh. However some sightings are from Lower Himalayas around Kasauli, Chakki Mor, Tikkkar Tal, Butterfly park Chandigarh etc. A total of 139 species of butterflies are identified and photographed here. These sightings are from Feb 2022 onwards. Both the common as well as zoological names are given to help in searching. Camera used is Canon EOS 90 D with EF 100-400 mm 4.5-5.6L IS -II USM Lens.
